  6. Patty,

Your babies are so BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! I love them all. I can't imagine making all those tiny cloths for them. Each outfit is perfectly created and also beautiful. Do you sew them or glue them on the bodies? All the mini accessories OMG! Perfection is the only word for it.

I have never been able to figure out how you doll artists keep your clay clean. Maybe you could tell me because I think my pores just extrude dirt. LOL I wash my hands and the area I work on, all my tools and still... Dirt happens and gets in my clay. AAARRRGGGHHH!!

Lucky you to be going to one of Rik's classes. I love that house! It is my favorite one of the group he teaches. I saw a photo of that house someone made. She added shutters to the windows using that lovely faded French blue. How I wish I was going to take that class. I hope you enjoy every minute of it. Please take lots of photos of the progression while your working on it. :-)
I am off to read everything in your blog.

  7. Thank you Catherine. I mostly use glue on the fabric when dressing the babies. There are no signs of it anywhere on the material or body as I am very anal about messing anything up! The few times that I do use a needle and thread is for gathering skirts and dresses. With these babies being so tiny if I was stitching the clothing it would become too bulky and not have the in scale "look" that is needed.
